Vienna Art Studio is a place to explore, enjoy, and create. Katie Hook uses different mediums to teach unique pieces of art including sculptures, acrylic and oil painting, and sketching. Life is FULL of beauty and wonder! Enjoy! No experience is necessary.
A unique component of VAS is half of all proceeds through Vienna Art Studio is given to a mission, domestic or foreign, or a local need for our fundraiser parties. Why?
Because Jesus said... "For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me." This small town art studio will show the heart of Christ by neighbors helping neighbors. Our neighbors might be local or across the seas, whatever the need may be. Come join the fun in creating art and helping others.
The owner and operator of the Vienna Art Studio is Katie Hook- a native to southern Illinois. She found her love for art while at Murray State University majoring in Elementary and Special Education. She has taken several adult education courses and absolutely loves to paint and to create! She has since written two children's books and hopes to write more in the future.
